I do not think I am unique in that regard. I even think there was another kid, maybe brighter than me, and certainly more disciplined and dedicated to academics, who they also beamed into chronic illness to try and clip his wings as well. I would assume that has been going on across the nation, with every young kid who showed an innovative potential, for the last thirty to forty years, as domestic intelligence has tried to make sure nobody could rise too high in society, and maybe oppose it. Because: my company actually made a real product. Sure, we had it built overseas (had to, because there are no US manufacturers worth anything these days. and the USA doesn't make chips). But we designed it, we maintain the software on it with US-based developers - used to be in house just a few years ago. So because my company actually made something, we also had to comply with the #FDA for this product. Which means we have to document our testing for every software upgrade. It's a whole process that takes a team (I was on the testing team) quite a while to perform. There are 24 hour tests, battery tests, cold tests, heat tests, RF interference tests, and tons of code tests and scenarios. If you're a vampire company, you don't do any testing.
And when you look at what the cost per customer is, our margin is slimmer than a vampire company because of the overhead: we have a team of engineers, designers, testers, regulatory folks, shipping, refurbishing, legal, complaint handling - all of this to comply with the FDA. This all increases the cost per customer quite a bit.
Now you might be asking, what is a vampire company? well, #Disney is one. They used to produce hand-drawn cartoons like Little Mermaid, and the Aristocats, Snow White, etc. Now they don't produce anything (but crap). They spend their time buying their competitors: Star Wars, Marvel, pixar, what-have-you: they don't actually produce anything anymore, they just buy the ones that ARE producing. and then build an amusement park in their honor, while they destroy them with the #wokevirus.
The #regulations in the #USA actually favor these vampire companies: The vampire company can actually sell a known defective product because they can always blame the manufacturer if there's a problem. And the manufacturer can just admit "we have a few defective issues", take the slap on the wrist, and move on.
Imagine the profitability of a vampire company that has no overhead - no engineering department, no #quality department, no #testing department, and no #shipping department - Everything they do is done overseas -the only thing they have in the USA is a sales team. The cost per customer is really low in this case - but the customer is getting screwed over with a crappy product that no one has to take responsibility for.
It is crazy where we've ended up as a country.

I work as a professor for a uni on the east coast of the USA. What strikes me the most is the decline in student writing and comprehension skills that is among the worst I’ve ever encountered. These are SHARP declines; I recently assigned a reading exam and I had numerous students inquire if it’s open book (?!), and I had to tell them that no, it isn’t…If there were any chance of salvaging the #USA as a means of organizing #heritage #America, this might be lamented. But there isn’t, so this is a very positive thing for those who are propagating heritage America, as the #intellectual #capabilities of the ruling elite and the #invaders who prop them up are in a steep #decline.
My students don’t read. They expect to be able to submit assignments more than once. They were shocked at essay grades and asked if they could resubmit for higher grades. I told them, also, no. They were very surprised.
To all K-12 teachers who have gone through unfair admin demanding for higher grades, who have suffered parents screaming and yelling at them because their student didn’t perform well on an exam: I’m sorry. I work on the university level so that I wouldn’t have to deal with parents and I don’t. If students fail– and they do– I simply don’t care. At all. I don’t feel a pang of disappointment when they perform at a lower level and I keep the standard high because I expect them to rise to the occasion. What’s mind-boggling is that students DON’T EVEN TRY. At this, I also don’t care– I don’t get paid that great– but it still saddens me. Students used to be determined and the standard of learning used to be much higher. I’m sorry if you were punished for keeping your standards high. None of this is fair and the students are suffering tremendously for it.

The obvious probability of collateral damage, the trivial amount of military damage that could potentially be inflicted, and the indifference to civilian casualties make it a clear and obvious act of #terrorism. There is no way this is going to improve the diplomatic crisis that Israel presently faces.
Pager devices recently introduced by the group to beef up security exploded en masse yesterday, causing chaotic scenes and devastation in Lebanese hospitals. Israel is believed to have orchestrated the attack but has not claimed responsibility. Security sources believe Mossad, Israel’s spy agency, intercepted devices en route to Lebanon months ago and attached explosives to be used when needed to cripple the Iranian proxy group.
Still, questions remain as to why the attack was carried out on Tuesday. One American official told Axios it was ‘a use it or lose it moment’ as Hezbollah were understood to be getting close to uncovering Israeli espionage.
Three US officials told Axios that Israel decided to blow up the pager devices carried by Hezbollah members on Tuesday as they feared the group was close to uncovering their operation.
A security source told Reuters that up to three grams of explosives had been hidden in the new pagers and had gone ‘undetected’ by Hezbollah for months.
One senior Lebanese security source told the news agency he believes the devices had been modified by Mossad ‘at the production level’ before arriving in Lebanon. ‘The Mossad injected a board inside of the device that has explosive material that receives a code. It’s very hard to detect it through any means,’ the source said.
Hezbollah earlier this year ordered thousands of pagers to conduct communications after leader Hassan Nasrallah declared smartphones would be more susceptible to cyber attacks by Israeli forces. As many as 5,000 devices are believed to have affected, though not all went off on Tuesday, according to the Lebanese source. The source claimed Hezbollah ordered the pagers from a Taiwanese company called Gold Apollo, but executives there said the devices were actually manufactured and sold under licence by BAC Consulting in Budapest, Hungary.
Elijah J. Magnier, a Brussels-based senior political risk analyst, later said he spoke with Hezbollah members who had examined pagers that failed to explode. The pagers appeared to receive a coded error message sent to all the devices that caused them to vibrate and beep for some 10 seconds. When the user pressed the pager’s button to cancel the alert, the explosives were detonated – a design that would ensure the pager was being held by the user at the time of the blast to inflict maximum damage.

My intention here is not to defend the actions of the #ThirdReich or any of its leaders, but only to support a narrow claim: that of all the belligerent leaders, #Churchill was the one most intent on prolonging and escalating the conflict into a world war of annihilation. #Germany and #Italy did not want it – in fact, before the conquest of Western Europe, German leaders including Hitler were skeptical that they’d be able to take on #Britain in a fight. This has caused a surprising stability in the Israeli stock market because funds invested in foreign stocks and bonds generated profit in foreign currency, which was multiplied by the rise in the exchange rate between foreign currencies and the Israeli Shekel. But then Intel scuttled a $25 billion investment plan in Israel, the biggest BDS victory ever.
It’s difficult to guess the future without going overboard with recency bias, but as the article above states, many figures have now proclaimed that the #age of #Zionism itself has come to an end, and a slow outflow from Israel, a kind of anti-Aliyah, will continue to take place until Israel itself falls apart and dissolves.
I’ve professed before that I can see Israel’s end resembling that of former #Rhodesia. I’ve stated before that #Netanyahu and #Zelensky are two birds of a feather with the same desperate goals: they need to drag the US into a wider global war to save their regimes and their country. But what they don’t know is: they are doomed whether that happens or not. That’s because the US does not have the power to win a wider war against either adversary, and both #Ukraine and Israel would be doomed to their fates, with US merely sacrificing itself in the process as well.
There’s good chance that by 2050-2075 Israel goes the way of Rhodesia, or at least won’t exist in its current form.
