As you may know, the US, UK and other governments have imposed sanctions on several Russian banks related to Russia’s recent activity in the Ukraine. These banks include: #Sberbank, Bank Otkritie, Novikombank, #Promsvyazbank PJSC, #Sovcombank PJSC, VEB.RF, Bank Rossiya, and #VTB.
Under the sanctions, Sberbank is subject to certain restrictions while the other banks will be disconnected from the SWIFT bank messaging system. These sanctions on banks do not require you to close your #IBKR account. You are receiving this communication because you may have an existing instruction on file for at least one of the banks subject to sanctions.
Please note that IBKR can no longer process transactions involving Sberbank and certain subsidiaries after March 26, 2022. You have until that date to withdraw funds from your IBKR account to your Sberbank account on file. After March 26, 2022, you will have to withdraw and deposit funds through a different bank.

Novikombank, Promsyvazybank PJSC and Bank Rossiya were not granted a wind down period and have been restricted by IBKR already.
You may bank through another financial institution so long as that bank is not subject to sanctions.
